Approve your agents from the notch.
VibeNotch turns the space around your MacBook camera into a control strip for Claude Code, Cursor and Codex, with Slack, your calendar and your Claude limits alongside.

See it in action.
An agent asks, you approve from the notch. Then Slack, your next call, your Claude limit, the file tray and your music, all without leaving what you're doing.
What's in the notch
Everything you keep alt-tabbing to check.
Hover to expand, glance, get back to work. Nothing opens a window unless you ask it to.
Approve requests without finding the terminal
When an agent wants to run a command or edit a file, the notch drops down with exactly what it's asking. Allow once, always allow, or deny. Your agent keeps moving while you stay in the browser.
Your messages, right in the notch
See who's messaging on Slack and what they said, then send a quick reply without leaving what you're doing. Connects through Slack's own sign-in during setup. Discord is coming soon, with notifications and one-click Open (Discord doesn't let apps reply for you).
Claude usage, and a countdown when you're out
Your current usage sits quietly in the collapsed notch. Hit your limit and it switches to a countdown to the reset, then disappears again once you're back.
Your next call, counting down
Connect Google Calendar or use the calendars already on your Mac, with Outlook coming soon. Five minutes out, the notch shows the meeting with a Join button for Meet, Zoom or Teams.
Whatever's playing, in the wings
Spotify, Apple Music, or a YouTube tab in Safari, Chrome or Dia. Artwork and moving bars sit either side of the closed notch, and it opens to play, pause and skip.
Quiet when you're focused
Add the VibeNotch filter to any Focus in System Settings. While it's on, the notch stays shut and glows instead, with the app's icon and how many things are waiting. Or let it open as usual, your choice.
It knows your name
Set your name once during setup. The notch greets you with the time and changes as the day goes on, from "Morning" to "Late one" after midnight.
File tray
Drop a file in. Get the right version out.
Drag anything onto the notch to hold it there. The tray offers the conversions that make sense for that file, so you can skip the converter websites.

FAQ
Questions before you install.
How does it approve requests from my agents?
VibeNotch plugs into each agent's own hook system. When Claude Code, Cursor or Codex asks for permission, the request goes to VibeNotch on your Mac, and your answer goes straight back. Nothing passes through our servers.
My Mac doesn't have a notch. Does it still work?
Yes. On Macs without a notch, and on external displays, VibeNotch draws a notch at the top centre of the screen, flush with the menu bar, and it opens the same way.
What does it do with my messages and calendar?
Your messages, calendar events and files stay on your Mac. Google and Slack connect with their official sign-in (Outlook and Discord will too when they arrive), and you can disconnect them at any time in settings.
Where do I find my license key?
Straight after you buy, Polar emails you a link to your order, where you'll find your key. It's always in your Polar customer portal too.
I got a new Mac. How do I move my license?
Open VibeNotch settings on the old Mac and choose Deactivate, then enter the same key on the new one. A license covers 1 Mac at a time.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days of buying, for any reason. Email hey@byrayan.dev and ask.
macOS warns me when I first open it. What do I do?
VibeNotch isn't notarised by Apple yet, so the first time you open it macOS shows a warning. Click Done, then open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway next to VibeNotch. You only need to do this once.
